Our Methodology
We assess your needs and objectives in order to design a fully customized training program, adapted to each participant’s language level, the company’s industry, and employees’ departments and roles.
Our focus is on developing effective spoken and written communication skills, increasing fluency and confidence, and ensuring the practical application of newly acquired knowledge in real professional contexts, such as meetings, phone calls, presentations, negotiations, interviews, trade fairs, conferences, and networking events.
We work in accordance with international standards across the six CEFR levels:
Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-Intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1), and Proficiency (C2).
According to Cambridge guidelines and our hands-on experience with thousands of adult learners, motivated professionals typically require 100–200 hours of guided learning to progress from one level to the next. For example, moving from A1 to A2 usually takes around 100–150 hours, while advancing from B1 to B2 may require 180–260 hours.
We recommend a blended learning approach that combines technology with human interaction: flexible recorded courses paired with Zoom meetings, either in small groups or 1:1. This ensures continuous speaking practice, direct feedback, language coaching, and linguistic consultancy.
We strongly support full immersion in English, training learners to think in English as quickly as possible. As a result, all courses and sessions are conducted predominantly in English, with occasional Romanian support only at beginner level or when strictly necessary.
We also promote continuous learning, both through structured programs and independently, by encouraging self-study, reading, films, podcasts, music, and frequent real-life interactions in English.
About Us
We have been active in the language education market since 2015. During this time, we have worked with hundreds of firm across multiple industries and thousands of learners—entrepreneurs, executives, managers, experts, and specialists—and have delivered tens of thousands of training hours, face-to-face and online.
The Confident Business English program is founded by Anca Bratu and delivered together with her team of highly-qualified and experienced trainers.
Our mission is to help companies and professionals grow through effective Business English communication.
Anca has over 15 years of experience teaching English and French for professional purposes. She began teaching in her second year of university and set up her own firm in 2015, driven by her passion for foreign languages and her vocation for pedagogy.
She invests continuously in her education, taking part in nationally and internationally recognized business and personal development programs, and reading—both in English and Romanian.
Performance has always been central to her path. In 2009, she was admitted to the Faculty of Letters at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, Applied Modern Languages, with an entry average of 9.48, ranking 12th out of 12 state-funded places. After the first semester, based on academic results, she advanced to the top of her cohort and became a scholarship holder, maintaining and improving her performance throughout eight years of university studies.
She also holds certified teaching qualifications obtained through the Department for Teacher Training, Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, following five years of studies and examinations.

What CBE Includes
The Confident Business English program provides access for 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the frequency of live online sessions (2 or 4 per week) and your target level.
