Confident Business English (CBE)

Our Methodology
We assess each participant’s needs and objectives and design a fully personalized training program, adapted to their language level, industry, field, and role. Our focus is on developing both spoken and written communication skills, increasing fluency and confidence through the acquisition of essential knowledge and its practical application in real professional contexts such as meetings, phone calls, presentations, negotiations, interviews, trade fairs, conferences, and networking events.
We work in line with international standards across the six CEFR levels: Beginner (A1), Elementary (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-Intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1), and Proficiency (C2). Based on Cambridge guidelines and our practical experience with thousands of learners, motivated adults typically require between 100 and 200 hours of guided learning to progress from one level to the next. For example, moving from A1 to A2 usually takes 100–150 hours, while progressing from B1 to B2 may require 180–260 hours.
We recommend a multimodal learning approach that combines technology with human interaction, using flexible recorded courses alongside Zoom meetings, in small groups or one-to-one. This ensures continuous speaking practice, direct feedback, language coaching, and linguistic consultancy.
We promote full immersion in English to help learners start thinking in English as quickly as possible. This means that all courses and sessions are conducted primarily in English, with occasional brief explanations in Romanian at beginner level or when strictly necessary. We also encourage continuous learning both through our structured program and independently, via self-study, books, films, podcasts, music, and frequent real-life interactions.
About Us
We have been active in the language education market since 2015. During this time, we have worked with hundreds of firms across various industries and with thousands of learners—entrepreneurs, executives, managers, experts, and specialists—and have delivered tens of thousands of training hours in-person and online.
The Confident Business English program is founded by Anca Bratu and delivered together with her team of highly-qualified trainers. Our mission is to help companies and individuals grow through effective communication in business English.
Anca has over 15 years of experience teaching English and French for professional purposes. She began teaching in her second year of university and set up her own firm in 2015, driven by her passion for foreign languages and her vocation for pedagogy. She continuously invests in her education through nationally and internationally recognized programs and books.
She has always been performance-oriented. In 2009, she was admitted to the Faculty of Letters at “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, Applied Modern Languages specialization, with an admission grade of 9.48, ranking 12th out of 12 state-funded places. After the first semester, due to her academic results, she rose to the top of her cohort and became a scholarship student, maintaining this status and progressing steadily throughout eight years of university studies.
She also holds certified teaching qualifications obtained through the Department for Teacher Training, Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, following five years of parallel study and examinations alongside her language specialization.

What the CBE Program Includes
The Confident Business English program offers access for 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on the frequency of Zoom meetings (2 or 4 per week) and the level you aim to reach. You benefit from:
